CULTURAL STRATEGIST, RESEARCHER & CONCEPTUAL CREATIVE
My name is Iona and I’m a cultural strategist, conceptual creative, workshop facilitator and DJ, primarily working across (experiential) cultural programming, research & insights and nightlife curation.
​
My work blends community-rooted insight with conceptual thinking and experiential execution. I’ve collaborated with brands such as Feeld, TikTok, Carhartt WIP and AllTrails, helping them show up in cultural spaces in ways that feel human, specific and non-extractive: from concept to execution.
​
I’m also the co-founder of The Queer Agenda: part cultural studio, part queer universe expansion pack founded in 2023- building experiences, editorial work and collaborative projects that support queer voices, talent and collective expression within a community of 11,000+ people.
​
Starting my career as an International Development practitioner, alongside years of social research across Africa, Europe and Asia, I bring analytical depth and context-awareness into creative, cultural and experiential work. In practice, that means I care just as much about systems and behaviour as I do about atmosphere and connection.

At the centre of everything I do is a drive to make culture a driver of positive social change, through creating space for stories and communities that are too often left out of the frame.
